Frequently Asked Questions
Roll-off Dumpster Rental
Is there anything I cannot put in a roll-off dumpster?
We cannot take tires, hazardous waste, computer monitors or tv screens, medical needles, or cans of paint unless the paint is dried out.
Do you provide residential trash service?
We do not provide a weekly residential trash pickup, but we can help you with a list of people who do in your area. However, keep us in mind if you are doing a roofing or cleanup job at your residence and we will bring a roll-off dumpster.
I have no idea what size dumpster I need. Can you help me determine the size?
Getting you in the right size dumpster for your needs is our specialty. Call our office at 918-683-5181 to have one of our customer service reps customize the right dumpster for you.
Can I have a roll-off dumpster placed on grass, a street, on a sidewalk, or in an alley?
After being in business almost 50 years, we have learned that setting a box in grass is a lose-lose situation. When ground conditions are wet, our trucks will either tear up a yard or get stuck. Legally, we are not allowed to place a box in an alley, or on a street or sidewalk. Therefore you must have concrete, gravel, or asphalt for us to place a box.
How long do I get to keep my roll-off dumpster?
The price we quote you includes a courtesy of seven free days of use. If you would like to keep the dumpster past that time, you may keep it as long as you like at a rental price of $3.00 per day.
When do my seven days of rent-free use start?
Your seven days begin the day after you receive your dumpster.
Why can’t I fill my roll-off dumpster past the top level?
We have to ensure that our filled dumpsters are safe to haul down the road. Overfilling a dumpster can result in potentially hazardous situations to other drivers if something falls out of a dumpster when we are hauling it. We tarp our loads to ensure safety, but if a box is overfilled it damages the tarp and still could result in things falling out.
Can you provide me with a time of delivery?
We can only guarantee the day of delivery. Your roll-off dumpster will be delivered between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. We will call 20-30 minutes ahead of when we leave with your dumpster in order to give you as much notice as possible.
What is the weight limit on your roll-off dumpsters?
The weight limit for our roll off dumpsters is 8 tons. Anything over that will result in a heavy weight fee of $50.00 per ton.
Do you automatically pick up my roll-off dumpster?
No, we service hundreds of customers during the week. You must call the office at 918-683-5181 and schedule your dumpster to be picked up. Please know that pickup may take up to 48 hours depending on when you call. However, upon your call, we will stop the rent.
When do my seven days of rent-free use start?
Your seven days begin the day after you receive your dumpster.
Do my seven days of rent start over when I have a box dumped and returned?
No, the first seven free days of rent are a courtesy we give our customers. It is a one-time-only courtesy.
Am I allowed to move the container?
No, the dumpsters are property of Whittinghill Disposal Service, Inc and can only be moved by our drivers. We are able to do a relocation service but you must contact the office first. Unauthorized moving of a box will result in a fee.
Do I have to be there when the box is delivered?
Yes, we must have customers on site when the box is delivered in order to instruct the driver where to place the box and also to sign a service agreement.
Can we move someone else’s container?

Why was my trash not picked up?

When you call for a pickup or have a scheduled FEL dump day, it is up to you to make sure we have access to your container. It also may be due to a locked gate or that your box was overfilled.
Do you have locks available?
For those customers who deal with unauthorized dumping on their commercial containers, we do have locking bars available.
